Student Speak

I have had a few Yoga teachers during the course of my life and at the age of 84 years, I am now having Shri Nakul Sharan, who belongs to the Sivananda School of Yoga, as my teacher.

My experience, as his student, is somewhat unique. He is the only teacher I have had who throws his heart and soul into the training of his students. He keeps time with your pranayama and while performing asanas. He expects perfection in one's posture, breathing and in the performance of each one of the asanas. He targets your weak areas and tailors the yoga accordingly. The 50 minutes that I spend with him is something that I look forward to.

I am very comfortable with Shri Nakul Sharan and, at my age, I believe that this commitment to Yoga will improve the quality of my life.
